Our Teak Glulam Explained
Teak glulam is an engineered structural timber made from recycled teak offcuts from furniture production. The timber is finger-jointed and laminated into strong, dimensionally stable beams, columns, and panels while retaining the natural appearance of teak.
What Is Teak Glulam?
Teak glulam is made from recycled teak offcuts collected from furniture manufacturing and other reclaimed sources. Short and irregular pieces are finger-jointed into longer structural-grade sections, then laminated together under pressure to create full-size structural timber.
A Circular Use for Recycled Teak
Rather than using newly cut timber, our production process gives discarded teak a new structural purpose. Sawdust generated during production is reused in our bio-composite materials, ensuring that very little of the original material goes to waste.
