The Mila Resort villa — a prefab pool villa with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, with or without a wellness area, built as a complete knock-down system: a glue-laminated teak frame joined with steel connector plates, bio-composite cladding, and concrete point foundations in place of a poured slab.

Every Mila Resort villa starts with the same modular system: recycled-teak glulam beams joined with steel connector plates, wall panels with bio-composite cladding, and concrete point foundations in place of a poured slab. The building envelope is fully insulated, and every material is chosen for how it performs in the tropics — naturally ventilated, shaded by design, and built to age well in humidity and salt air.
Whether you’re building a single villa in Indonesia or a full resort, configure it with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, with a wellness module (sauna, shower and cold plunge) or a covered carport in its place. For resorts, a stand-alone wellness unit can be shared by several villas. Then choose the interior and exterior palette that fits your setting.

Every post sits on a steel base plate fixed to a concrete pier, connected with concealed steel plates and bolts. No poured slab and no wet trades on site: the frame is assembled from prefabricated parts, and can be taken apart and moved.
The Mila Resort is built on a 3,600 mm grid: four bays for the 1 bedroom, five for the 2 bedroom and six for the 3 bedroom villa, each including the wellness module. Layouts are configured bay by bay, using the same beams, panels and connectors throughout.
The Lysaght steel roof takes Midsummer SLIM thin-film solar panels, bonded directly onto the roof with no frames, rails or roof penetrations. The off-grid package: approx. 6 kWp solar roof, 15.3 kWh battery storage and a hybrid inverter with a monitoring app. Available as an option on every Mila Resort villa; panels planned to be produced in Indonesia from 2027.
